Museums, stores, casinos, theme parks and other physical spaces are increasingly being designed from a user experience perspective. At the same time, virtual reality and augmented computing are blurring the lines between the physical and the digital world. Through a combination of lectures, demos and field trips, students will be exposed to a wide range of research, products, and spaces in the broadly-defined fields of virtual and augmented reality, 3D user interaction, and spatial user experiences. Prerequisites: UX103. Notes: Design Studio Classroom or standard classroom.
